1. Agreement

By installing and using Smart Cart OS ("the App"), you agree to these terms. Smart Cart OS is operated by Pea Soup Digital ("we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree to these terms, please uninstall the App.

2. What Smart Cart OS does

Smart Cart OS is a Shopify theme app extension that adds a cart drawer with goal-based rewards, cross-sell recommendations, fastest-path suggestions, and analytics tracking to your Shopify store. It works within your existing Shopify theme and does not modify your theme code.

3. Eligibility

Smart Cart OS is available to Shopify merchants using Online Store 2.0 themes. You must have an active Shopify store and a valid Shopify account to use the App.

4. Free trial and billing

All plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start your trial. After the trial period, billing is handled through Shopify's standard app billing system. You can cancel at any time by uninstalling the App — there are no contracts or cancellation fees.

5. Plans and pricing

• Starter — £19/month: Up to 2 goals, smart cross-sell carousel, fastest path suggestions, basic analytics, email support.
• Growth — £49/month: Up to 5 goals with chaining, smart + manual recommendations, variant selector, full analytics, priority support, custom branding.
• Scale — £99/month: Unlimited goals, metafield product overrides, advanced analytics + export, dedicated account manager, custom integrations.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for configuring the App's settings (goals, thresholds, colours, modules) through the Shopify Theme Editor. You are also responsible for ensuring that any promotions or rewards you offer through Smart Cart OS (such as free shipping or discounts) are honoured at checkout through your own Shopify settings.

7. Data and privacy

Smart Cart OS does not collect, store, or transmit customer personal data. All analytics tracking runs client-side in the browser. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and uptime

Smart Cart OS runs entirely within your Shopify theme. It does not depend on external servers for its core functionality. The checkout button is a plain HTML link that works even if JavaScript fails, ensuring your customers can always complete their purchase.

9. Limitation of liability

Smart Cart OS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any lost revenue, missed sales, or business interruption arising from the use or inability to use the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months prior to any claim.

10. Uninstallation

You can uninstall Smart Cart OS at any time from your Shopify admin. Upon uninstallation, all App code is removed from your theme. No residual code is left behind.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
